Meet Morgan.

The creator behind Morgan Making It, Morgan Rask, has been the power behind multiple brands.

In 2018 following a dive into a ketogenic lifestyle, she created MNKetoMom an Instagram and Facebook account that shared recipes, meal plans, struggles and triumphs, and support. Shortly after a blog for MNKetoMom was built where support materials are stored to be shared with those on their journey of a ketogenic lifestyle.

In 2019, she found herself looking for a creative outlet after the kids had gone to bed and started producing epoxy tumblers out of her basement. Hokey Pokey Bean (named after the oldest 2 of her children) became known for custom tumblers, signs, apparel and more.

From these two brands, Morgan Making It was created. After all, she was making it all: custom items, recipes, meal plans, family budgets, kid activities, and more sharing them through social media for others to enjoy. The MNKetoMom instagram and facebook pages were updated to reflect the new brand while Hokey Pokey Bean continued to gain interest through local craft shows and word of mouth. In 2023, she began taking Hokey Pokey Bean to local craft shows. As word got out that she would be at local shows, requests from friend started coming in for her to bring some of her sourdough based baked goods for them to pick up. Curious to see if there was an interest in her breads and other items, she began bringing rustic loaves, sandwich bread, and cookies to the shows as well. The response was overwhelmingly positive. She now runs a small cottage bakery called Rustic Rask’s under the Morgan Making It brand as well for locals to the SE Minnesota area.

Outside of running the business, Morgan enjoys spending time with her three girls and husband Mike. All of which you will “meet” if you catch the daily social media stories. To add to the entertainment, the dogs, Cooper and Diesel, make appearances as well. Summer time is full of gardening, canning, adventures and more around the Minnesota area. Winters are for hunkering down, baking, celebrating the holidays, and finding ways to keep three kids occupied during the cold.
